Oops sorry I deleted your HRT comment by mistake. To answer, I don't know. I think HRT squads in standard assault squads always kinda looked out of place. I think them spawning between waves to rescue hostages is a lot better.

Even newbie's lazy fix doesn't spawn the correct factions and still causes crashes, pity. iirc rokk pointed out a few times he doesn't make his mods to function with fss and shotgunners deal the same damage as riflemen in vanilla. Tho it makes a hella fun when using correct difficulty preset scaling but eh, green dozers with a dps as high as a black dozer? Thanks anyway.

I don't use Mildly Alarming Spawngroups any more because it's severely out of date. I use the weapon and game overhaul mod Irenfist (https://modworkshop.net/mod/28585) , which has a better cop spawn and behaviour system. If you don't want the overhaul and just want the cop stuff, the mod is called Assault Tweaks Standalone (https://modworkshop.net/mod/28329) . It has pretty much all the things that MAS has except that HRTs only spawn between waves instead of with the regular cops like with MAS, light shotgunners spawn more frequently, and they had to remove armoured shotgunners due to a bug, but the behaviour of cops is really fun to play against in this version.
