Death Trash is a post-apocalyptic world influenced by cosmic and body horror. The world of Nexus on which the story of Death Trash takes place in is an environment born from the twisted influences of H.P Lovecraft merged with the morbid vision of master of body horror David Cronenberg.

You take on a role of an outcast who must leave the underground settlement. Upon leaving, you must find a way to survive in the unnatural wastelands of this post-apocalyptic world. Your journey takes you across a ruined world which holds secrets untold. From Lovecraftian beings to growing flesh to using your puke, it is a journey worth taking.

Death Trash is inspired by the old Fallout and Wasteland games where you don’t have a clear vision of where to go and what to do. The world is your canvas. It is your task to discover locations and find new quests. Often you will encounter an empty quest log and no idea where to go next. It is then you should point on the map and start travelling. Eventually you will encounter something, and your story continue.

Gameplaywise Death Trash draws its inspiration from ARPGs. The fast and deadly combat is both difficult (at start) and rewarding (when you survive deadly encounters).

The charm in Death Trash is its world; something new and refreshing to look at. Although the world is portrayed as disgusting with piles of growing flesh, it creates a sense of wanting to explore and discover why it became as such. The setting and the story complement the sense of wanting to discover all Death Trash has to offer, pulling the player deeper into its ghastly fleshly grasp.
