I wasn't totally sure what to expect. It's VERY short, but it's a fun little story, complete with Portal's quirky and dark humor. I had fun operating the desk, despite not playing it on a steam deck, so I wasn't even able to get the most out of this.

Killing Floor 2 does the original justice. If you've played the first one in any serious way, you'll know that that means that this is a glowing recommendation. It truly captures the soul of what Killing Floor is, while still not just being a face lift. It has its own nuance and small details that are going to make you a good player if you take advantage of them. It's still in early access, and you can tell. They could have released the game this way and no one would have noticed (but there is a bit of a lack of content as there are only 3 maps right now and 4 perks) as it is incredibly polished. Bugs and glitches are basically non existent, as far as I could tell. Where you can tell that it is still in Early access is in places like the weapons menu. There are entire categories such as rifles (not assault rifles) that are just empty. They plan to have the game in its finished state by 6 months from now, so we won't be waiting long for the content issue to be fixed.

Alpha is a bit limited and there's some bugs, but this is still one of the best games I have ever played. I've never had a game make my heart pound and my hands shake before, but DayZ does that on a regular basis. Easily worth double what it costs.
