Okay. I'm done! I played the 'digested food' out of this game and I had a blast with it!

It's addictive, it is surprisingly relaxing and it just feels awesome to get stronger and up the amount of bling and boom and slash and poke and cart accidents. There isn't even much to say about the gameplay besides: You get in there, kill thousands of monsters, find fancy new people and weapons and stuff and become the stomper of evil. Any detail beyond that would be a spoiler because the variety comes with the surprise of what character and what new weapon comes next. It's really well balanced. Not frustrating, not too easy. Just perfect as it is.

So: The dev of this game deserves a lot of love and to be honest even more money. 5 bucks for this thing is insaaaanely low priced and an amazing deal. So get it! Show poncle how much their work deserves appreciation and have fun rolling through all those waves of fancy creatures!

When you start this game you are all like 'Aaaaawww so cute!' then you get into being like all 'Awwww so saaad! T_T' and you just wanna cuddle the kitty and instead you do all the kitty things with the kitty and just know that all will be good in the end.

That being said: So far this game is amazing! The kitty, the feeling and atmosphere, the kitty, the simple yet captivative gameplay, the kitty, the very well written story and nicely built world, the kitty and also all the robots are just purrfect.

The game has everything it needs to be what it is supposed to be. I am not at the end yet and might change my review, but I doubt it. I expect it to be amazingly well done til the very end.

And now go buy it, those devs deserve so much love!

This is not just the most adorable and wholesome way ever to slaughter each other, this is also a game where everything about payments and rewards feels so considerative and appreciative towards the players.

The amount of playable characters and cosmetics you can unlock just by playing (even without getting the Super Edition) is incredible. Even if you lose matches frequently it still feels rewarding. You know about those things called Season Pass in games like those? (Ofc you know, it is a rethorical question. :P) Usually you have to decide if it is actually worth paying for the upgraded version to get all the rewards out of them, because you don't know if you have enough playing time to actually finish them and get everything out of them. Not in this game though - no oh. Here you can finish each and every single pass you paid for and can even have two of them active at once. You can pay for old passes and still just see them through if you like at any time.

You don't pay for the chance of maybe getting everything you paid for in time. You pay for getting everything you paid for in you own pace and time. This is something that deserves a lot of praising cause I've never ever before seen something like that. Are they trying to make money with it? Ofc - They worked hard on it. Are they trying to squeeze every penny out of their players to make a somewhat enjoyable experience while playing possible? No, they do not and we should all love 'em for that.

Geez, that new game mode is so freakn much fun and feels so different to the usual RoR2 gameplay. \o/

I haven't achieved yet to unlock the second hero but considering, that the first one is already - even though not easy to play - so different and interesting and that the amount of new items and enemies is really nice: This DLC is totally worth it's money.

Early Access Review
So, finally this is ready to shine as bright as it was supposed to shine. I will stay away from detailed feature lists and such things, since there are already plenty of those in other reviews.

This software is as it is one of a kind. Ye, sure, there are lots of other things out there, that help people - in a pretty nice way - to make their pen and paper experience online a perfect experience. But something that combines so many possibilities, so many well thought through features and so much love for details in one is at least not known to me so far.

I already read the first complaints and even negative reviews about how it is not okay, that every player needs a copy of TaleSpire to be able to use it together. Yes, okay, that's something not too usual for this kind of software, but I also think, that it is more than justified.

This software is stuffed with cool things. The devs put years of very, very dedicated work into it - I was mostly a silent observer, playing and testing a little myself and often peaking over the shoulder of that special someone of mine - and trust me: I have never seen developers working that close with their community. While I myself am not someone who is hyping tons and getting that deep into something, it was still amazing and lovely to see how the TaleSpire devs worked side by side with their fans and users - listening to them, communicating with them very openly, taking all their thoughts into account. Might sound cheesy but it always felt like a very big and nerdy family to me.

Now I am very certain that the devs will not abandon TaleSpire after release. There will be more cool features and assets, they will support their software and user base. This is a beginning and at that: One you can get for an insanely low price considering how much you get.

So yes: If you have a group or even more groups of people to play with, everyone will need to buy TaleSpire for themselves. But that is okay, because it is not like you have to pay the insane prices of recent AAA titles - which also everyone hast to buy for themselves usually, if you wanna enjoy their multiplayer.

Take it from someone who can't be hyped easily: If you love pen and paper, if you love going all in with the perfect pen and paper experience: Go for it! You already wasted enough time reading long texts and reviews. :D

Probably the best game of the Harvest Moon (now renamed to Story of Seasons) series I have played in a very long time. [insert intense fangirl squeals of joy here] There is so far literally no feature I am missing (I have the bestest bf irl I can live with not having a husband ingame, especially since all the main characters are children and I really am not into underaged marriage.) and tons of stuff to do. It feels smooth and relaxed with no pressure. I don't get the feeling that there is too much to do in too little time or the other way around.

Even without knowing the Doraemon franchise (Holy cow, this is so freakn japanese.) the theme of the game is kinda charming (Yes! Even though child labor is literally law in it!) and really well fit into the game mechanics. The artstyle is amazing and so pretty I am still a little bit in awe.

I have to mention that I only played a bit more than four hours at this point. I'll change my review if there will be unexpected changes in my experience with this game - though I doubt there will be.

At least with mouse and keyboard the controls are sometimes a lil wonkey and something to get used to, but still not at all bad and the only downside I found until now. Some people might find the cutscenes a bit too long but I think this is totally fine as it is since it also kinda fits the overall game theme.

If you love the Story of Season/Harvest Moon series: Go for it. In my opinion there is nothing to regret.
