Immediately upon hearing about this game I bought it for the measly $5 asking price and proceeded to be entirely consumed by it for a 4 or so hour long session. I dug a hole ten feet deep in my back yard so this game is like revisiting a childhood dream for me, a dream that was ruined on the day of my 13th birthday party when all of the kids where interested in the hole and not my party. Now the hole is all mine...

One of the best remakes you will ever play. If you are experiencing Half-Life for the first time or exploring it as a longtime fan, you will be pleased either way.

An absolutely fantastic all time favorite. The ultimate evolution of the Metroidvania genre geniusly crossbred with the survival creatathon design. Exploring and building is even more fun than ever with the new update, with the simplicity of a 2D world you really never get lost in caves. There seems to be an endless amount of items to play around with and weapons to fight of countless hordes of enemies and bosses. This game has keep me coming back to it since it's release 9 years ago and it will keep me hooked for years to come.
