What if A24 made a video game?

As I played this game, I couldn't help but think of films like The Green Knight and Poor Things. The surreal aesthetics, unconventional use of focal lenses and angles, retro gaming interludes, and quirky soundtrack all come together to tell an incredible, deeply personal story of struggle. It’s a unique experience that feels like a cinematic journey you’d expect from A24. I truly hope more games in the future take such bold risks, and I’m excited to see what Odd Meter has in store next.

THIS GAME IS PURE RAD AND I WANT MORE

Its crazy how good these RE games have looked on the RE engine. The story is stupid in the best ways with out getting to overly crazy like 5 & 6. This game left me wanting more and I can't wait to see what DLC they come out with.

Occasionally Valve needs to flex and remind everyone why they are some of the best in the business. Half Life Alyx lives up to the hype, it is absolutely outstanding from start to end. That final act and ending. I basically bought a Quest 2 to play this game, and I don't regret it at all.

Is there flaws, bugs, & glitches? Yes
Can the tone of the dialog be all over the place? Yes
Did I enjoy the 107 hours I put into this game, absolutely

When you stare into the abyss, the abyss stares back at you.

A+, would abyss again.

Think of this game as a stylish Sekiro boss rush game whose story goes some really interesting places. The ending is a WTF?! Boss design is very Metal Gear Solid, and each bring their own uniqueness to the table. If you enjoy the combat and change Sekiro, give this a shot. If you are the type to break controllers out of frustration, maybe skip this one.
Oh and the soundtrack is awesome. Lot o' Carpenter Brute.

This game is METAL. Easily the best game released in 2016.
