It's solitaire with abilities and a story.

It's a great game for Final Fantasy fans and/or JRPGs turn based battle. But if I had to choose which version to play. I prefer the original and the Pixel Remaster version. Even for newer players who want to try this game. The graphic is going to be hit or miss for some people. I don't mind the look so much since I played the 3DS version. The issue I had with it is that everything is large or just zoomed in too close. It is probably the most straight forward main line Final Fantasy game. In terms of story and not a lot of customization for party members. The augment is a good addition that makes it different from the original. But I do wish it was more of an equipment than just using an item. The soundtrack arrangement is also great.

Also I recommend the FPS mod for battle. IMO its pretty slow leaving it on default.

simple game play but hard execution.
