The game does some amazing things considering it's built on the 1.6 engine.

That said, the initial tutorials all provide helpful HUD indicators, but as soon as you enter the initial mission, all manner of help are gone, and you are left running around in a very dark, dystopian world, with no purpose in life, leading to frustration, and the inevitable closing of the game.

We've returned to this multiple times over the years, each time ending up in the same spot, with the same grievances, and ending the game after an hour of aimlessly running around like chickens with our heads cut off.

Fun little puzzles that go take yo udeeper and deeper with an ever puzzeling backstory.

The controls are a bit finnicky at first, as the game came out for mobile touch devices originally, but they've adapted well, the graphics hold up and the athmosphere is fantastic.

Can't wait for the 3rd installment ot hit the PC market!

I'm a huge fan of the Final Fantasy franchise, and having played this game on the DS I was really looking forward to some casual fun on my PC.

The game has a good combat system, nice music, and the visuals are pretty decent if you walk in with the expectation of first-gen DS hardware rendered ones. It's basically a Final Fantasy game worthy of the name in regards to aestethics.

Unfortuantely the game appears to have some major bugs that resets your game progress, locking you to areas or forcing you to retrace steps depending on when the game resets. Bugs which have been around for some time judging by the forums without any resolution.

With these bugs in mind, I'm afraid I can't recommend this game to others, anyone unfamiliar with the games might get the wrong impression, and anyone familiar with them will most definitely go on a rage fest over losing their progress over and over.
