This one is hard to say. SoulWorker has pay to win elements to it and also heavily targets your wallet at all times. Late game gear, cosmetic items, player owned housing all aims at your wallet and has treadmills of paid incentives. You get a bonus cosmetic for your first character ONLY so if you change and like another account more, your bonus cosmetic ends up on a char you don't use. If you level up a skill that you end up not using, only way to level down is using a paid item. >_>''

The things that I really LIKED about the game are the combat system, amount of cosmetics (Dislike that they are usually unique to each character), the market and most of all, the achievement system. I'm an achievement ♥♥♥♥♥ so this game kept my interest despite heavily opposing me.

The bad outweighs the good and I have to vex myself to stop playing due to the addictive nature of the game. Not worth it in the end.

Cute yuri pseudo-dating sim. Has enjoyable characters and well thought out story. The sex scenes are rather modest. Over all this was a pleasant experience.

Played in two religious bursts so far. 600hr total, none afk. That's something that a high end console game can't achieve. That being said, I am a player driven by exploration and treasure, which this game does a good job of providing. I also aim to extend gameplay content by restricting myself and doing things that I feel the game should provide.

This game will probably remain in 'alpha' due to the nature of the code. Most expansions to content will result in a tredmill of patches to un♥♥♥♥ the broken logic that is created.

Also, I play with collision damage on 25% which makes decorative ships worthless. Collision damage on = borg cubes only. The threshhold of impact is silly and changing the % only changes numbers that pop up. I would say it is required for pvp though.

What I expected:
A 15$ indie sandbox that I got at a nice discount.
What I got:
Just about that.
What I wish I knew:
Focus on tool upkeep early game. If you wish to remove a structure, open the build tab and use the delete button. I had to dig around to figure this out when I suddenly needed it. ><
UX Recommendations::
The tutorial isn't very intrusive and describes the UI quite nicely. I would recommend providing more affordance on how to survive early game beyond the quests. The quests were more achievements and rewards to be earned than tools to learn the game. They DID allow for quality linear progression though. "What do I do now?" -opens quest tab-

"I feel that if I were developing an indie sandbox survival game, similar to rimworld but to allow the player to control a single pawn, this is where I would start. The early game progression and control of multiple villagers allows for alleviation of your own focused labors, but does funnel in some immediate complexity. Perhaps the early game phase should be lightened up a bit and focus on individual food and temporary shelter before introducing multiple characters for the player to control.

Something about the character control in this game left a craving of 'Force of Nature' in my mouth.. been a year since I've played that so I'mna go re-live that experience as well as the updates that they have done since then. Keep up the good work, I will probably pick this game up in a year or so and provide a follow-up review."

This game is a very cruel game of survival. It is very well crafted with an amazing customization value of being able to create structures and place them wherever you want on the map. The concept of everything corroding after time of inactivity prevents massive clutter to popular servers so unlike most mmo games with building, the most popular areas are not crammed full of things created months ago remaining an eyesore. The most dangerous things on this game is yourself and other players. I commonly would die of fall damage jumping off things that I shouldn't have, and being ambushed and murdered by other players. I mean murdered. Players are cruel and unmerciful on the game rust, as the game is designed to be. Nothing is permanent. True loyalty is priceless and you may find truely amazing individuals that you can trust. Rust was a very good experience, that also came with much anger and greif. Come with friends.. it makes a difference.
