I'm only at the 10+hr mark and would guestimate that I am about 10% through completion so I can't give a responsible appraisal for how much I would judge this game to be worth so I'll just say 'Yes'.

The gameplay gives me a solo character xcom2 mixed with fallout newvegas on a contained european cityscape with the layout of an assassins creed or tom clancy game in which there are usually 3-5 drastically different ways to gain entry to the objective.

The worldbuilding lore is like cyberpunk but if one day literally everyone with augmentations goes on an forced uncontrollable killing spree with a death count matching world war 2 causing significant humanitarian distrust towards implant technology.

The character is very likeable and calm if you are new to Deus Ex, also mad attractive. My first goal of fps is to see how the weapons feel and decide which ones resonate with me, and then I commit to them. Interestingly enough the first two weapons, combat rifle and pistol were my favorite and then discovering that I'm gifted a gold plated combat rifle and pistol for the purchase? GUILDED IS MAH THING and I'm pleased to be upgrading my permanent functionally and aesthetically preferred weapons right out of the gate. A similar game comparison would be left for dead 2 in which I really liked the feel of the weapons but had to grind my ass off to gold skin them, lol. Alright, done fangirling over guilded weapons...

Lastly the one highlight that stood out to me above other games is the atmosphere of the headquarters when you reach it. There's the constant hum of activity that you would expect from a large amount of people but it's not static background noise. Almost every character down there is doing something, communicating with someone and you can pick a voice from the crowd and focus on their conversation, just like you could do in real life. I've never experienced that type of immersion before from a game and was blown away, and it probably wasn't even intentional but an amazing byproduct of how they script npc activity.

This game is carried by the array of very loveable characters based on a core concept. It breaks the 4th wall, has sad and dark content based on the nature of the system at play and has a solid conclusion. A lot of people relate it to dokidoki due to the 4th barrier concept but MiSide isn't as extreme in that sense. Everything is contained in the system that the game is based on and the threat harms everything within its reach making you want to save what resonates with you.

I got about 5 hours in before I hit the factorio style infinite treadmill of upgrades and factory expansions. The game plays nicely and feels good to develop your own prototypes. Unfortunately I'm just not in the mood to scale infinitely right now, lmfao. From my experience playing it, I would judge the game to be worth 5$, 10$ if you're into the factory and space colony genre.

If you can tolerate trash tier MC dialogue and lack of character options, I would judge the game to be worth 10-15$. Else, 10$.

This game plays like binding of issac trying to be Noita, which isn't a bad thing. You acquire spell components and try to assemble them in a meaningful fashion in acquired wands to help you delve into the abyss. The gameplay is enjoyable and I can feel the gameplay loop is similar to backpack hero and moonlighters. You play it, enjoy it, beat the game and then collect everything once for the encyclopedia.

The only drawback is the main character has the personality and humor of a middleschool gamer nerd and the character options are severely limited to bilibili tributes.

Early Access Review
As a long term, high key Elona fan, Elin is a very satisfying experience. The gameplay progression is less confusing to start than Elona and the home ownership and crafting aspect contest with modern games that specialize in those fields. The progression is significantly slower than Elona and still slower than most games but I don't mind. This reduces the replayability as getting on your feet with a new character is quite a bit of work which many will find apprehensive.

It still maintains Noa's quirky humor of things like panties being a throwing weapon that causes insanity and little sisters nearly being a cult. The religion system which I've heavily adored has additional dieties to look forward to and the map has significant changes while still being heavily recognizably north tyris.

The overpowered unbalanced gimmicks suck as miral and garokk's workshop SEEM to be heavily nerfed as while the small medal weapons are still incredibly powerful, they don't wholly replace naturally discovered items, as well as that they are brutally hard to acquire due to having to earn them via several dungeon clears and searching maps.

After my first 24hr of gameplay, Elin naturally can't compete with the amount of content present in the fanmade mods expanded over the years but even in its early access state is an extremely elaborate and fleshed out game. I look forward to future development and mod expansions to come.

I got about two hours of enjoyable (speedhacked) gameplay out of this one. While this is a fetch quest with charades simulator, the gameplay isn't bad at x5 speed, the environment is nice, exploration is good and the biggest worry you'll have is if you throw something out of sight and never find it again. The sad backstory is what teeters this into the recommendation zone for me. Had me hoping that there was an easter egg for figuring out the ancient ruins to resurrect your pet plant.

Unless you are a diehard farm sim fan, this game has an excessive amount of bugs and a lot of them are game ending. The characters are likeable except for most of the males. No gay marriage because china discriminates and the devs have no intention on providing an option.

While I found it incredibly enjoyable, I know that the vast majority of players will not have a pleasant experience in the end. I have little faith in the developers to proceed responsibly or fix their product out of an alpha-like state.

I got about two hours of gameplay until 100% completion in its current state (Sep 2024). It was an enjoyable experience and I would judge the game to be worth 5$+ in its -current- state. I look forward to this one developing further.

I got three hours of enjoyable gameplay out of this one. While there are roadblocks and the help feature fails to provide help, the dark and interesting lore makes up for the gameplay issues. I would judge this to be a 10-15$ game.

This is another fishing simulator pretending to be a farming sim. Not sure why this genre is plagued with easy gathered resources being worth more than time invested resources.

By the time you prep, plant, water and harvest 100 crops, you'll have made nearly 200x more value from water meat.
