Wonderful time-sink type of game, as the planet gradually changes under your care. It is very relaxing to just sit back and watch the planet from your base and slowly see the sky turn blue, the ice melt and form lakes, lichen and moss spread and the like.

First off, I enjoyed Outriders quite a bit. A lot actually. When it's good, it's very good, but when it's bad, it's frustrating, bordering on maddening. There is no single issue that causes this but multiple.
I get the feeling the whole game was designed not as a cover shooter in general anyway, looking at how rough the cover mechanics still are an dhow little cover actually helps half the time.
In regards to fighting mutants, who thought giving Alpha Perforos this much HP on the higher Expedition tiers was a good idea? They are already bad enough with their constant staggers, bugged jump attacks and heavy damage.
Perforos in general are just not fun to fight, none. In higher tiers you basically just run backwards while dumping mag after mag into them, getting staggered half the time. Who thought this was a fun idea?Chargers need a fricking cooldown on their attacks, same with the Screechers. They just keep pumping out heavy hitting AOE attacks, that also stagger or freeze, while having way too much HP to be dealt with easily.
The only real interesting fights are against human opponents due to them using cover and some simple tactics, which means so can you.
On a different note, why can’t you rejoin during the final expedition stage?! What the ever-loving feck? Who thought this was a good idea? I had this happen because of a random disconnect, not my actual connection, but the Outriders connection. I am being punished, after wading through 40+ minutes with my buddy, losing out on the loot and resources, because the game and servers are unstable and unreliable, after this long. Feck that.
The connection in general seems iffy. My buddy lives relatively nearby. The only game where I have lag with him and a slow and unstable connection is Outriders. The whole issue with needing a connection when playing alone is another thing that just boggles the mind.
Random, unnaturally difficult bosses are another one. It's hit and miss whether the boss fight will be aggravating or entertaining in terms of balance. The dude from the treasure room in City of Nomads comes to mind. He is designed to be difficult and annoying, but he is way to hard hitting and beefy. I’m sure groups have breezed through him, but come on. But also in general. The difficulty stems mostly from the regular waves of reinforcements piling up on you, which gets especially nerve shredding when they contain a bunch of crawlers, screechers or alphas.
Also, dodge roll is basically useless. When playing in groups the connection lag often bugs it out, animations don’t work reliably in general then, the Tremor skill, f.e., doesn't work sometimes, giving me the cooldown, but not the effect.. But also in solo, I get the feeling that the dodge roll has no I-frames and is too short to really help much. Perforos and other enemies will still stagger the ♥♥♥♥ out of you constantly, melting your HP, stopping you from reloading. Sprinting doesn’t help either
There are several other gripes, minor ones in comparison though, but I just find it surprising how buggy, unstable, unbalanced and rough the game still is. I had a lot of fun with it, frankly, and am looking forward to the expansion, but this game needs some serious work, IMO.
So if someone were to ask me right now if I could recommend it on a general basis, I'd say that Outriders is a lot of fun at its best times, but no, right now I would not recommend it in general.

Played this to death on the Vita when it came out. Part visual novel, part JRPG, part life sim, it's quite a unique game. The story is wonderfully weird but engrossing, especially with the Golden addon. The personas can be... quite striking, depending on what you expect (Thor, Odin, Loki, Skadi, what have they done to you, my sweets?!). Overall a great if very odd game. Now I'm just hoping that they bring out P5 on PC.

A little bit Harvest Moon, a pinch of Rune Factory, a helping of nostalgia and a metric ****ton of beautiful PixelArt and Content. Not only for the fans of the Farmsim Genre, but just a great, relaxing and enjoyable game all around.
