Hands down the most immersive nature game out there. Amazing graphics and sounds. Hunting mechanics are great, luring animals and tracking them and seeing the kinds of shots you've made is very satisfying. 20 hours in and there's still game I haven't hunted succesfuly yet and most areas of the maps still to explore. Side quests are intersting and the voice acting is good.
For 20 bucks I couldn't really ask for much else, COOP experience is great besides not being able to use the same hide unless you've both bought it. Other than that NO cons. as it is it's a 8.5/10, takes patience but it's a play at your own pace EYE CANDY experience.
I'd love to see the game's content continue to expand!
Duck/ bird hunting
Fishing w/boats
Optimizations and more mechanics
and you got yourself a 10/10 game.

Early Access Review
EDIT: In 2018, a lot has changed with Off World Industries, most glaring to me is partnering with Post Scriptum (originally a WW2 mod for Squad). If you can't finish your first game, what makes you think you should start development on another? Another issues is the way Off World has been treating some of the people that first exposed me and thousands of others to the existance of Squad. They have been very unprofessional and frankly immature in the way they take criticism, and their attempts to strong-arm people from saying what they want about their game have put me off. Lastly, Off World can't even post montly recaps in a timely manner, if you can't even keep early access adopters and paying consumers of your game up to date, what is supposed to convince us they're even working on it in a timely manner? Every time I hear and see these irresponsible actions from offworld I sadly feel more and more like this is turning into a "DayZ" scenario.

I don't even have a hundred hours in this game, but since I've bought it i've put at least a couple hundred into Project Reality, and I wish I had just donated to their devs instead. Squad will never live up to PR, and at this point it doesn't even seem like they're trying.

Review from last year:

While pretty rough around some edges Squad offers a great balance of gameplay between arma's milsimness and Battlefield / red orchestra's approachable UI and more simplistic controls.
As of today, 9/9/17, optimization has taken a big step forward. In the range of 10-20 fps, not to mention the new animations, mechanics and bugfixes the devs are pushing out on a fairly regular and frequen basis.
I am probably pretty biased when it comes to reviewing this game, because the inspiration for it was the Project Reality mod for BF2 which was the first PC game I really got sucked into. I can already see Squad's gameplay shaping up to be very simmilar and I hope they practically remake the mod as best they can in true standalone form.
If you're curious where this game is headed youtube search some Project Reality videos and see the inspiration and look at the news page to see latest updates.

DLC and season pass before release?
♥♥♥♥♥♥ that and ♥♥♥♥ early access games. Time for everyone to learn their lesson and apply it universally. Unfinished products shouldn't be paid for, otherwise they don't get finished.

Came back from having no power and no Internet from hurricane Harvey excited to see the new content in the planes update. Before I last logged off I had about 3.5 million I had saved up from selling my bunker and car warehouses during the double sale weeks. Needless to say I was excited to buy some new planes.
NOPE!
'ROCKSTAR GAME SERVICES HAVE CORRECTED YOUR GTA DOLLARS BY -2.66 MILLION'
Totally out of the blue. I don't hack, none of my friends hack, and I haven't interacted with any hackers except to report them. I don't use exploits, I grind, and I do so efficiently as to not waste time.
The ONLY reason I can see for me being fined like this was to EXTEND that grind or make it so unbearable as to force me into buying a jooish $hark kkkard. (Which I am proud to say I've never bought a single one)
But neither of those things are going to happen. Seeing as I have NO feedback for WHY I was docked this money I have equally NO reason to return to a game that steals from me.
As of now my only option for some reliable fun in this game is to be a hacker, especially if i'm going to be treated as one.

Review written at 30 hours.
Love the immersive feel of the combat and the community these Tripwire war games have had since Red Orchestra 2, and the low price point makes a few of the shortcomings much more bearable.
Gunplay is fun, requires combat sense, staying low, suppressive fire, teamwork actually makes a difference and the helicopters are fun to both pilot and shoot down.
Hoping they add a few more official maps over the lifetime of the game and that they can work out some of the minor bugs, but playing through R02's lifetime, I have little doubt Tripwire will do just that.

A simplistic but very well designed RTS. We need more Halo ports to PC, Microsoft.

A fantastic example of Early Access done right.

KSP is a great building game that pretty accurately portrays orbital mechanics and space exploration!
This game has amazing modding possibilities with one of the most active modding communities I've seen.

Not for the more casual players, takes a bit of learning to do some of the more complicated tasks like planetary transfers and rendevous.

People love to hate this game but it's not that bad at all.

The environments in this game are some of the most detailed that I've seen so far, with pretty stunning visual effects (especially lighting witht the day 1 update). I run this game pretty darn close to max settings and imo it looks amazing, if you're not capable of running the game at max settings, you shouldn't whine about a downgrade.

In my ~30 hours of playing so far, I can't say I've gotten bored easily and have enjoyed the sights and fights this game has to offer. I've just recently gotten into the lvl 6 dark zone with more challenging enemies and that is the most fun area this game has to offer. This could be a 10/10 multiplayer rpg if they added raids with more player space for missions, and more difficult enemies like the ones in the depths of the DZ. Excited to see what ubi's DLCs look like and I guess I'll update my review since I went all out on the season pass..

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege is a refreshing mix of hardcore shooter elements combined with unique abilities and "operator" traits that can be utilized in a number of different ways.

The maps are pretty complex, allowing for dozens of different situations on each map, and requiring many hours to learn to fully defend / breach (which is a good thing, in my book). And the CQB itself is dynamic enough to keep me coming back. The games go by in ~25 mins and casual is not nearly as retarded as CSGO's.

If you can snag this game for less than 50 I'd say do it. I got it for 40 on the Steam winter sale. If this game gets good Free DLC with balanced operators, and a bit higher of a tickrate on the servers, you're looking at a 9.5/10 top tier game, son.
