It sucks to do this, but I would be lying at this point if I didnt. If you can get access to the game prior to when gearbox obtained the rights to it, it WAS a fantastic game, my time spent with it was well spent. HOWEVER, with Gearbox at the helm, there is absolutely nothing redeeming left to the game and this most recent update shows it. The amount of terrible choices that have been made by what feels like scriptkiddie grade devs has left the game in a virtually unplayable wasteland of false promises. Unless Gearbox returns this IP to Hopoo, I cannot in good conscience recommend anyone buy the game going forward.

The community was afraid this was going to happen, Gearbox promised it wouldnt, and look where we are now.

This game has one of the best monetization schemes I have seen in a live service game in years. The fact that you can relatively easily grind out more than enough cred to get the warbonds and rotating shop armors just by playing the game, the fact that you arent limited in how many cred you can get a day, the fact that there is only a single external pack which ultimately only paygates a single SMG since the armor effectively has a passive you can get for free from the base warbond, there are many good things going for this game.

With the reversal of the PSN requirements, I shall give this game the honest rating that it DOES deserve. I will hold out hope that Arrowhead manages to keep Sony in check in the coming months and years and that we wont have similar situations that repeat over and over again.

Not bad, but its an idler through and through, so if you're expecting anything much more than that this probably isnt for you. That said its got good depth for an idler and the formation tactics gives you a nice bit of strategy to work with.

48 minutes of trouble shooting, digging, bug searching, and hair pulling, and I didnt even get to hit a single zombie. A menu that doesnt work, a UI that cant be scaled, an FOV that would make 90% of the world nauseous, and after fighting to get it to work, finally just returned an array error that to the best of my abilities could not be fixed. If you want a game that you have to play without EVER touching the options menu else it will crash and burn harder than my hopes and dreams, this game is for you.
