My original review was "When the third party", however about 2 years later, I've decided I want to give a more honest and more thought through review of Apex. I've been playing apex since it came out originally, before it came to steam, and when I migrated to steam apex, it feels like the integration was quite smooth.

Apex Legends as a game itself would be down to personal choice, if you like fast-paced action Battle Royale type games, then this is your go-to game. Apex legends offers a phenomenal battle royale experience, unique from other battle royale's, due to movement mechanics, utilities, and more. Many different types of people come to apex because of different aspects, as I personally find most love in the movement, as it's literally TitanFall's movement, and it feels so smooth. The game-play is quite smooth, however there is the occasional bug, but that's usually right after a season begins, so there is basically a guarantee for something to go wrong. Apex also offers another gamemode, which is Arenas, which is basically a 3v3 gamemode where you and 2 other teammates attempt to kill the 3 enemies to win the round, and every round you get credits to which you can buy/upgrade guns, utility usages, ultimates, and grenades, so there is quite the amount of strategy to fit in with skill.

Apex's current ranked season (13) is somewhat of a let-down.
This season coming around came with some ranked changes. The whole ranked system got reworked, and it made ranking up even more of a hassle, and started encouraging players to play later in the game, to not engage in fights at all whatsoever. (Ranked reloaded article from EA https://www.ea.com/games/apex-legends/news/saviors-ranked-update) These ranked changes are to me, for the worse, because now there is practically a cap to how much RP (Ranked Points) you can get in total, and it seems unjust. With the new Rookie rank, you now lose 12 RP in bronze, 24 Silver 4, 36 Silver 1, up to around 75 for Master's/Pred (Pred keeps increasing per 1000 RP player has, without a max amount) I believe this change was because of a bug that was exploited last ranked season that majorly inflated Apex's ranked system, so it encouraged them to add caps, make it so you can get demoted from ranks rather than just specific grades of a rank, etc etc. There were different ways to resolve this, however this was just the one they went with. Some people might like this change, however I highly dislike it.

I highly recommend giving Apex Legends a chance if you have not already played the game, just to see if it fits your taste, as there is multiple different ways to enjoy the game. The graphics aren't "stunning/breathtaking" but they are really good for a PvP Battle-Royale game.

it's an ok game I guess

Greatly recommend this game, As terraria is a cheap, multiplayer survival game, where you can build, or fight monsters with a wide variety of tools, classes, and much more. Very unique, and the game is still amazing near 10 years later
