As someone who's played the original, I have to admit that this is pretty faithful in terms of the atmosphere and the overall look and feel of the original while being it's own thing. The devs are super dedicated, and I cannot wait to see this one finished, it's bound to be good.

Pick it up. Seriously.

There's nothing like mowing down gang members on the Vice City Strip in Little Haiti and Little Havana in a monster truck while Slayer is playing in the background. Was fun way back in 2003 on the PS2, and is still fun today. The only real downside is that it can be a bit tricky to get to work on some modern computers, however, in my opinion, it's totally worth it.

And as an aside, whatever you do, if you decide to fly a helicopter for any reason, use a damn controller. It'll save you all the headache.
