This game single-handedly healed the mmorpg franchise for me.
I haven’t been able to find the excitement and obsession I used to get from playing MMORPGs as a teen in years. Every mmorpg I’ve tried, either the build system is too complicated, it’s p2w, has an awful community or I skip through all side quests due to boredom.
This game gave me that ‘I can sleep tomorrow just one more hour’ feeling I’ve been seeking for years. The story and side quests are engaging, and filled with depth. There is a great balance between solo and online. I don’t need to grind the same mobs for 100+ hours for a single level. My level progresses while I discover things, do fun side activities and play. Honestly I have no problems with the use of AI because growing up I think we all wanted an immersive mmorpg where we could actually have choices in conversations with NPCS. I’d say if anything it’s a positive use of it. My only single complaint is the subtitles. It doesn’t match the dialogue and feels like it’s auto translated. 10/10 game.

This game had so much potential but sadly Sega has completely ruined it with their shameless greed.
They barely provide any in game currency. Even maintenance's are not compensated.
Worse, there is no soft pity at all.
I'm around 300 pulls into the game and haven't received a single 5 star banner before hitting 80/80.

I was a pre-launch test player and have been playing since day 1. I played on mobile until the steam release as the PC version was extremely laggy even though my PC was beyond capable of the requirements.
Still to this day, even on steam, the game is laggy and inconsistent. That’s the least of the issues. There is no such thing as ‘luck’ in this game. Every banner is at least 80 pulls. I don’t think I’ve once gotten 2 outfit items from a single 10 pull SINCE RELEASE. The quests are boring and repetitive, making you labour away for a small amount of gems. I am tired of taking cringe photos and jumping around. They really need to improve combat for at least some sort of fun, or add more competitive reward based activities that is NOT just jumping. Honestly it’s getting so boring and I’m not spending 5 hours gathering gems for a 10 pull with 0 or 1 outfit items.

Yu-gi-oh for witches.
