As someone that disliked Dark Souls from what I played and couldn't get very far due to the 30 fps in Bloodborne I thought I would hate this game, I'm absolutely loving what I've played so far

Game has some technical glitches but otherwise is running well on my 3080ti at 5120x1440 60-100 fps on high. Otherwise the game is absolutely Stalker and so far it's my GOTY

Edit: After about 20 hours I started noticing some quest bugs including a hardlock in the main story that resolved itself with an emission that went on and warped the quest NPC to his right spot so please note there are still some issues with quests in this game. Still highly recommend playing the game eventually but if you want to wait for patches that is understandable.

Probably my GOTY of 2023, surprisingly good game that has a nice balance between XCOM style HQ/Unit Improvements along with Dawn of War II squad RTS play/control. Enough fan service for any Alien series fan.

Does this game have flaws? Of course
Is it a fun experience? 100%

Starfield is through and through a bethesda RPG and if you enjoy past ones, you'll enjoy this one as well. There are some minor issues that I would like them to improve like maps, ui functionality and performance but it does not detract from the gameplay at all.

Some more hours into it I still find the game enjoyable but some technical flaws are starting to get into the way. I've had to use some console commands to get around game breaking issues and though I still recommend the game I would say wait another 6-12 months

Does the game have its flaws? Absolutely but its a blast to play still with friends and that's why I'd still recommend it. Like all other BF games before it it'll come with support for years that will improve it and add content, the knee jerk reactions to every little detail is just that.

Valve does it again, everything is so detailed and refined. The atmosphere is great and the gameplay is fantastic too

The best Star Wars game in a decade plus. The combat is fun albeit a bit hard on the higher difficulties and the story/graphics/sound/music is all fantastic.

An absolute must for VR
