I try to be optimistic, especially when it's about something new. However, the Awakening update sucks. It's taken away almost all the freedom that we had when it came to creating builds. I don't particularly care for the 2 weapon system. The updated graphics and ui look overly designed and clunky. I HATE the fact that my 650~ hours spent in this game pre-update got wiped away from the slate. I don't like being put at square 1 and having to play from the very beginning again. And why would you ever think to take away weapon crafting AND take away almost all the weapons AND force us to PAY for weapons? Maybe this is a hot take, I LIKED the reforging loop. And when I stopped playing the pre-update game, it was because I was satisfied with what I had accomplished.

This is one of the worst video game updates I've played. Revert the game. 00/100

Fun, easy to learn, and definitely expands on the ground work Asteroids laid. Plenty of weapon routes to take and mechanic complexity that I still don't fully understand. Never particularly frustrating, either. 87/100, would recommend.

I started playing cause it was on my wishlist and I had the chance to try it out for free. Bought the game two days after I started. When I bought it, I already had 8 or so hours logged. Needless to say, I love this game.

Very intuitive gameplay, very pretty, will run even on a laptop, very fun customization, and while it does have a battle pass-type system, you don't have to pay to use it. And it seems old seasons are freely available if you have the time and will. No regrets.

The vastness and pure creativity this game brings is amazing. Even on a crappy laptop. Can't wait to play this with a good computer
