Not what I was expecting. No clue what I'll do the second playtrough, but I'm sure I'll find out.

The startup process is not great. There's no magical feeling to accepting cosmetic junk one at a time for a minute before actually getting into the title screen.

I expect I'll like this game once I properly get into it, but what an awful start.

What a mindless, boring cashgrab. Yeah, the game is still pretty solid, but if you have a kid that plays it they'll probably want to waste money on a battle pass. Ballsy move to have a good game and think, what can we do to break it?

While it seems to be a decent, casual game I can't in good conscience recommend it in its current state. The game can randomly remove your save (I lost 9hrs), forcing you start over from scratch. I've also seen reports on progress not being saved. This is not related to Steam cloud sync.

Should you still decide to buy it I recommend using backup where you can go back to a previous version of your save (I use Dropbox folder sync now).
