I don't fully comprehend what had to have transpired for this remake to turn out as good as it did, but my Anal Probe thanks all those involved.

Love it or hate it, this is Call of Duty; you know what you're getting.

And Black Ops 3 is easily the best entry to the series of the last few years, perhaps since MW2 or BLOPS 1. Sure, there were some performance issues at launch, but much of that has been ironed out, and now the game performs significantly better than it did 2 weeks ago.

Later on, after mod tools are released, BLOPS 3 might end up being a limitless trove of potenital.

Really awesome. In simplest terms, it’s a great-playing shooter with an eargasmic soundtrack. It’s hard, and you’ll die a lot, and you’ll keep coming back for more. There is a wealth of weapons and characters to unlock. The most direct comparison is obviously The Binding of Isaac, but it’s carved a nice little rogue-like-like-like-lick niche of its own.

Super-duper recommend.

First off, it's totally bootyful. The art, animation, presentation, music, all of it, awesome.

The game is super easy to pick up and play, and it isn't all too deep. Matches last for 45 mins, maybe an hour, and each one can play out differently, with different win conditions that are better suited for different characters. A few account-level unlocks, but nothing too skewed toward power. So there's a fair bit of replay, but it's not infinite.

No local multiplayer, currently, but there is online. Single player probably won't keep you occupied for too long, and it is rather easy (difficulty levels would be much welcome) but multiplayer has some potential, especially when ranked play comes with a later patch. Still, grab three friends, sit around without pants on, make a drinking game out of getting rot, and you're probably have yourself a good time.
