Early Access Review
I have been procrastinating making a review for this game because I feel it deserves a very well thought-out review, but writing said review would take away precious gameplay time, and I have elixir wells to clear! But now that I'm halfway through my second playthrough of the currently available quests, I can't keep putting it off.

Enshrouded is the first game like it to hold my interest. I've heard people compare it to Valheim, but Enshrouded hits something entirely different to my mind. Right from the start of your journey in the game you are told who you are and what you have to offer this world. You're then given a slice of the world in which to quest, level up your character, gain new skills, conquer the shroud, and then move on to the next area. The progression is a delight, and there's a great balance of focused questline and organic freeform adventuring. There's lore scattered throughout, and you can see the care put into every voxel of the hand-crafted environment.

The map is slated to expand in future updates, but it's already huge; you could spend days upon days exploring and there will still be new details to find. If I were told this was all this game had to offer I'd consider it money worth spent already, and to my understanding there's still much more to come.

I've leveled up to the current limit, but even so, there are many different playstyles I've not tried yet. I've greatly enjoyed testing out different builds by redistributing my skill points.

This game is clearly intended to be played in a group, as some bosses and especially the Hollow Halls are extremely challenging when playing solo, but it's still doable with the right strategies. I've put in many hours by myself, and am currently on my second playthrough with my partner who I convinced to give it a shot. We've both been playing it for hours every day since I introduced him to it.

I could go on for paragraphs more about everything I love about Enshrouded (I didn't even mention the building system!!) but this review is already getting long and cheesy. Enshrouded is great, it's NOT EVEN FINISHED YET and it's already excellent! Just give it a go yourself, you won't be disappointed.

Early Access Review
Timberborn has been an incredibly fun game to follow through the early access updates. Every time I've grown bored of it (as I do with most games, curse my ADHD), another update has dropped with new features and another level of progression. Each and every update has been an improvement and made my experience with the game smoother and more enjoyable.

It's incredibly satisfying to move from a tiny set of beavers barely scraping by, to a thriving society with boundless resources and vast stretches of irrigated land. It's also a great game to run in the background while you're doing other things, intermittently checking back to make sure all is running smoothly and your beavers haven't run out of things to do, or been hit by a drought they're not rightly prepared for. Of course it's also a great game to wile away hours of concentrated play.

I love this game, and I'm excited to see where it goes.
