Edit: No fun anymore since they took out the blunderbus a few years ago. Lots of other unfun things added as well over the years but to each their own on the changes.

It's a pretty decent game.

It put the farm back in farm.

Part of me wants to make a humorous review like "10/10 Would be a hero again!" but in all honesty, I think this "average" shooter deserves better. And it is an average shooter, there is no denying that. I died quite a few times because of the occasionally wonky cover mechanics. The thing about this game that I think everyone should experience, is the story.

What a story it is! I shall not spoil anything but it is pretty mundane for the first bit and even an early big shocker isn't super impactful (in my opinion). But the ending! Oh the ending! You can't just watch it on youtube, it's something that will only have any impact on someone who has actually played through the whole thing. There were a few intense choices at the end and I'm actually amazed at one of the choices the developers allowed the players to have.

There will be no sequel to this game (it doesn't need one), but I hope the writers/developers go on to make more things that make me think while simultaneously ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with my head.

[Note: I don't think this is a $30 game but I'd say it's more than worth it when it goes on sale for ten or less.]
