Early Access Review
It's a great survival game. But it is still in alpha so there are definitely bugs; like the shotguns look like assault rifles to other players, and flying bears. Also, there are "sleeper servers" where when you log off, your character goes to sleep and anyone can kill youwhile you sleep. There are servers which are treated like PvE, but you can still kill other people, it's just frowned upon. There are some pretty nasty people, so be aware. But there are also very nice people. Like any survival MMO. Persistance is needed, you can't quit when someone else comes around and shoots you and takes all of your goodies. Don't quit easily. The basics of this game are as follows:
-Minecraft-esque
-Huge Map
-Creative (As in you need to be creative, think as though you were actually in the situation. Would you build your shelter in the middle of the road?)
-Tool depreciation. (Some tools depreciate faster if you use them with the wrong resource. Like using a pick axe to get wood from a tree. It'll break faster.)
-Hunger. (Every meat product is chicken breast, so far. If you hunt, kill a deer, and then, to gather the resources you repeatedly hit the deer with your rock, or tool or whatever you have to get chicken breast, animal fat, and cloth.)
-There are supposedly zombies, but I haven't found any yet.
-Radiation. (There are heavily radiated areas in Rust and after you contract 500 rads, you start to die.)

I purchased this game on Friday night and I have put in 17.4 hours and it's now Sunday. It's addicting, especially if you get the game with friends and try to build a base, defend from raids, and just go on supply runs. All-in-all, it's a really fun game, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys games like Infestation: Survivor Stories, DayZ, Minecraft.
