Considering this was my first souls game, I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it but decided to spend the money and buy the game. I personally found the game to be challenging but not too punishing in terms of losing progress when you die. This was what made dying feel OK in the game to me. The graphics were decent, lighting was very well done. It performed well for the most part but suffered micro-stutters in certain areas of the game. Unfortunately, the game would CTD from time to time but not consistently enough to complain about it. The controls were clean, although, a very minor improvement would be to have PS button prompts when using a PlayStation controller. Not a big deal by any means. The story was incredibly well done, however cryptic, and leaves it open for more content and up to interpretation. Despite some technical glitches, this game was truly a masterpiece and well worth the money I spent on it,

This space commodity combat simulator is stellar- once you get over the steep learning curve. Very time consuming game that requires a lot of patience.
