I've got to say that this is absolutely the worst DLC quest line for a game I have ever played. It's so bad that when I started my HC playthrough with the plan of doing every single quest, this made me put down my playthrough for 6 months, even when I've been in lockdown lmao. Even if its free I wouldn't recommend as it just bored me so much.

It starts off okay with good character building, but towards the end the fetch quests without any real character progression made me think if completing the mandatory quest (once you start to play it you cant abandon it without making a new savegame) makes me feel as if I need to force myself to do so, it probably isn't that good. You do get a cool looking shield out of completing it though which is nice.

Great Story and immersive game still worth playing even with the bugs. But when I play it again a year later I can tell Im going to have so much more fun

Unfortunately I can't recommend this game as the bugs in this make the game literally unplayable, no exaggeration. I've just encountered a bug where I cannot now progress the main ql and before then there have been many bugs which have required me to revert to a previous game save, and with no quicksaving, means I may lose many minutes of gameplay, forcing me to repeat part of the story until I get bored of it. The story is good though, just its hard to immerse yourself in it due to the countless bugs. As far as performance goes, the first 3 hours of gameplay were bad, with many game freezes (no crashes though) and low fps issues meaning I basically couldn't fight. But after 3 hrs I didn't and still haven't experienced any more performance issues. (i5 7600K + GTX 1070 etc. see profile for rest). Just make sure your graphics card drivers are up to date and that you use the GeForce Experience (if you can) to optimise your game, then you should be fine. Graphics are ok, but that isn't what the game is about. I recommend you leave the game a while till all the bugs have been ironed out, but once that has happened I would recommend this game for story and game mechanics.

EDIT:

playing this game now for a 3rd time in 2021 and can say that the bugs seem to be non-existent for me now and I have enjoyed the game so much more. You might still find the occasional crash or stutter when playing but no more than I have come to expect from modern titles. So to say that it happens but maybe once every 20hrs.

Absolute best PC game of all time, a must buy. I love this game and I have never got bored in it. Better than dishonored 2 imo.

Good time filler game, but if you are on a budget then there are much better games out there for the price.

Great game, cancerous community. Dont play this game unless you have 2 other friends to play it with minimum.

Amazing game. I have had so much fun in it. Great story and good competitive with a generally friendly community.
