Decent game, but it gets boring and samey after a while in online. Story was good though.

Cancer Strike. It was fine but then the hacker wave came. Not the best game but definitely not the worst. Great team tactics, met many good friends on cs.

Update: With cs2 released in the state that it is, I cannot recommend this game any longer. The new MM system doesn't work very well yet, with so many people mis-ranked either too high or too low it makes for inconsistent and unenjoyable games.

I'm normally the last person to call out hacks in a game, especially because I have a very high trust factor, but I have noticed recently a massive influx of hackers in matchmaking. Ive never before been up against 4 or 5 stacks of hackers 2 or 3 games in a row before, and before the csgo update, I don't remember the last time I saw a hacker. It shows now with the new influx of players that this game needs to have a much improved anti-cheat to keep things fair.

Then there's the gun-play. Its like marmite, some love the new sub-tick system and others hate it. But the fact of the matter is that with the new animations and non-fixed tick rate systems, it leads for discrepancies on each players screen on what they see, and it leads to discrepancies in what is classed as a hit. I have numerous examples of clips where I have clearly hit someone on my screen, sometimes 5 or 6 times in a row, and none of these bullets registering. However with what my friends saw at the same time they all looked like they missed.

There has always been some GOTV lag in the game from the very beginning, but it seems to have only been exacerbated by whatever they changed in cs2, and it makes some games borderline unplayable if you have a packet-loss of greater than 2% and a ping greater than 50.

Overall, this game in my opinion cannot be classed as competitive due to the amount of issues it has which is resolvable by skill or workarounds, and is no longer a game I enjoy playing.

Just Crashes all the time. Love the game, but just can never seem to play for long enough since the latest patch (which was ages ago). Pc Specs on profile and tried reinstall; no mods running either. And before you ask the gpu was custom made with 8GB VRam.

This game was an absolute pile of sh1t. Not only did the voice actor sound like he was trying too hard to make dad equivilent jokes but the pause menu didnt work and it was generally a really bad game. If you are gonna waste your money dont waste it on this. I'm just lucky a friend gave it to me instead of buying this pile of trash. most boring strategy game ever played. if there was a way to not reccomend this game anymore then I have done, I would have done it.

good game but was a little boring after you did the main storyline. Didnt live up to the hype but a good game nevertheless.
