Liberty.

Not Good

There are a couple annoying changes from the original games, but 95% of the game is exactly how I imagined it when I was a kid.

Fun tactical combat with an overarching strategy layer. Resource management and risk analysis is the name of the game.

Great puzzle game. As far as I can tell, there are only two incidences of 'guess and check' being used to finish any of the puzzles: the Chinamen and the brothers. The rest can be deduced, although some are difficult. Even when you need to brute force it, you can tactically to confirm other deaths. Fantastic game. If you like murder mysteries, here's 60 for you to solve yourself.

Outstanding game. Do at least your first playthrough blind. There's no set path you have to follow, and making your own way through the game offers a great sense of adventure. Once you beat the final boss, look up content you might have missed. There will likely be a whole lot of it.

Scale beyond anything you've played before. Rough around the edges, but very fun.

The game makes incredible use of its mechanics to send a message.

You really, really have to try to make a port this damn bad. From Software won't be getting any more of my money. I'm just glad I bought it for 5 dollars and that 10% of my purchase went to charity. DSfix and DSMfix make the game almost playable. Almost.
