A gem that was stashed in my library for as long as I can remember but guess what, I'm REALLY GLAD that I decided to pick this game up again.

The game has a very rich story. The puzzle of the story fits, the question of the mystery answered. The story is played out nicely and in a proper manner, not rushing too far ahead and not too slow behind, its laid out pretty well from the beginning up till the end. Most of the major choices given to you are very valid, there's no super wrong or absolutely correct answer, its all up to you, do you want it to end that way? Sure that it provides you with an aftermath scene of the choice (or Max making you feel guilty for your choice) so that you can rewind and choose again but the consequences are quite deadly, everyone WILL remember what you choose. (Which is rather impressive)

The environment design along with its background music are mostly fit. The ambience of each location and their BGM complements each other, the feeling of each moments are pretty much precise. Whatever the game wants you to feel, the music will amplify it. I'm not a huge fan of scary stuff but there are some dark, scary places and moments you have to experience but rest assured, I went through them just fine and I'm absolutely the type to ALT+F4 any scary jumpscares but I did not do it at all.

I want to highlight the rewind as well. The power is not only there for you to "uh-oh, I should have choose the other option" but the game did have some simple puzzles that wants you to manipulate the power. They are not absurd hard but they are worth noting for as I find most of it rather unique. A great addition on top of its marvelous story.

TL;DR: Wanted a game with great (by great I mean wowser, its gorgeous) story? Wanted to ride on an intense emotional roller-coaster? Pick this up NOW! Trust me, you won't regret it.

Its Yu-Gi-Oh, with smaller duel area, lesser starting LP, smaller deck size, and full of nostalgia.

When I was 12, I always dreamt of building and owning a theme park and becoming a theme park manager. Now, I'm not sure why I'm studying Engineering. 10/10

UPDATE after finishing both the 1st and 2nd

This is truly a masterpiece. Beautiful moments, decent build up, and nice plots. Give the first a spin and if you like it, I can assure you that you will like(or even LOVE), enjoy, cry, touched when you are reading the second one.

Make yourself comfortable, get yourself a cup of tea, sit down and enjoy. The soundtracks are sufficient enough to build up the needed atmosphere. Totally recommended!

Anyway, my first VN and it was impressively touching right to the kokoro (aka heart). :')
