Divinity: Original Sin updates and enhances the cRPG genre in a way that far exceeded my expectations. Larian studios have embraced the nostalgic infinity engine like gameplay of old and injected it with nitrous oxide. The experience feels smooth and immersive and the world looks beautiful. The voice acting is so vibrant and captivating that I would listen to all dialogue content instead of reading it and skipping the voice overs like I do in most games. The few areas Divinity might lack slightly compared to greats like Planescape torment or Baldur's gate would probably be the story and the characters, but even these aspects are very high quality.
