There's a lot here for newbies and elder scrolls vets alike. I think I prefer this version's combat over the original. At the very least it's a new and faithful way to re-experience this open-world classic.

still early access for sure, but a very promising MMO that leans into that MUD influence heavily. Keep posted!

edit: I figured it out it's under the mining designation for removing ramps and whatnot. The icons won't appear for removal if you are paused so keep that in mind.

Also I've been a fan of Dwarf Fortress since 2014 and seeing a more accessible version of the game is tight. As an older head playing this version, this port is fantastic and absolutely worth the 30 dollars if you're considering getting into Dwarf Fortress. You *can* learn the game for free with the old version, but the new steam workshop support and other streamlines are really game changing (and this version is much easier to learn, but I still wouldn't say by much hehe).

ALSO: most old dwarf fortress tutorials should still apply to this game, but just with different controls.

Also the Adam's brothers need more of my money.

This game is far too much like Runescape.

Let me start by saying that this game definitely has passion, and that talent is certainly there, but beyond the tight-knit community and responsive developers, the product feels too derivative as it is.

Obviously the skills and fundamental gameplay loop is what is most criticized, it's almost 1:1 with Runescape. The description says it's a post-apocalyptic setting, but you would just think it was a generic fantasy one based on the in-game sprites and characters. I realize a lot of that is still in development, but the theme and the systems are too similar and undeveloped compared to Runescape's that I could only see someone playing this game as a sort of investment that it would improve.

It should really just work to have more unique content I suppose. Flesh out the world more. Replace some of the more generic fantasty NPCs (slimes, etc) with something more interesting and thematic to a post-apocalyptic scenario, or at least explain why they're there. A unique and immersive world is a big part of why people play many MMOs, and that just really isn't here yet.

This can't be good for me, but I feel great.
