Its a cool open-world survival game.
There are still some issues and bugs, but nothing game-breaking.
Crafting system is nice, but can be frustrating. Some things require an absurd amount of resources to be crafted, while it does not provide much in return.
Pet system is nice, but faster way to travel is needed. If you want to move base to another biome, you need to play for 3-4 days just to move all your stuff (even with buffalo w/ cart)

Thanks Arrowhead for making this game. Its a blast! Sony, your entire staff (including everyone from PSN, and everyone in a leading position) should be send to Kepler Prime armed only with shovels and no stratagems...

The matchmaking in the game is non-existent, I am constantly getting killed by people with Exotic weapons and Epic armors, they are playing duo, and I am playing solo. Let that sink in. You have the most useless armor and weapons, you are alone, and you get jumped by people with almost the best gear in the game on the first map where most of the new players play. If you want a balanced game, don't even consider this one. You will most likely die to OP geared players constantly, because Yager has no conception of what "balance" is.

While the game is loads of fun, there are two downsides, first 40 Euro is a bit too steep for what it offers. If you can get it for 15 to 25 Euro (or the same amount in USD), and you like survival-building-exploration-boss fighting games, I would definitely do it, and second the combat in the game is a bit slow, I am not an experienced Souls type player who can dodge in 0.003 seconds, and I still find the combat to be a bit too easy.

The only thing you can do is increase the damage they deal to you and decrease the damage you deal to them... which only makes it more unrealistic, when you are slashing a half-♥♥♥♥♥ cannibal with a 7 foot axe and he takes just a bit damage, and make them take half of your health down with a stone pike, while you are wearing a heavy armor, just because you need a challenge.

Comparing it to a game like Valheim, Conan Exiles is better in almost every aspect (for example, no way to terraform the ground, boss battles in Conan are a bit dull, as they don't have enough special skills and different attack patterns).

Both of my concerns are extremely easy to fix. Changing the speed of certain animations isnt a big deal, making the enemys stagger you more also isn't something hard to make. I am not asking for a "7 days to die" type "broken bones, ripped flesh, wound infection" type of realism. Just something to make things a bit more challenging (but not exactly souls-level).

The reason I am not too happy with the combat is that I killed 3 bosses by only walking in circles around them and melee attacking them, with an ocassional dodge roll ...

Anyway, if you can grab it while it is on sale, it is definitely worth it

I recommend, game is worth, development is very slow but there are some good mods to fix the issues you will most likely encounter (like the fact, that you have to eat 4-5 whole wild deer/boars or 120 potatos a day to stay alive)

I prefer the game before the Hearth and Home update, the game was unfinished, but fun. The new additions in Hearth & Home are disappointing and the food "rebalance" makes absolutely no sense. Previously end-game food is now worthless, health regen from most foods does not make sense.... (2hp/t for a Neck Tail and 1hp/t for a Blood Pudding??? WTF? Same goes for the Honey... it was perfectly balanced, you had a good regen, but it took a food slot without providing much stats). Also, how come every single smeltry in the game can evacuate the ingots on its own, but a Stone Oven can't do the same for the 2 foods you can cook in it.

You seriously made me get a mod like ValheimPlus just so I can fix the now broken food system. Thanks.

7 months, in which the only "big things" are some nice roof tiles and an oven... with two recepies, one craftable item does not take more than 2 hours to implement code wise, stat wise and with the image file for the inventory. Don't become Bohemia Interactive, who screwed millions of people and ditched the project (DayZ).

You can make way more money from a game like this. Don't screw your chances. (Kudos for not making us pay for this "update" by making it a DLC, you had enough mone, now its time to work :) )

Add a boss... Add more enemies... Add fun mechanics and don't break what made the game fun for us. Don't be afraid to steal ideas, you could have made 50 new food recepies for the oven without any problems..

I am quitting the game for now, thanks to your bad decisions, and judging by the amount of negative reveiws coming your way, I am not the only one.

This is basically the child of Minecraft and Elite Dangerous, I have close to 1000 hours in all 3 games.

If you like building stuff, modding, digging making your base almost fully automated... This is the game for you... Now I am building another 280 meter long battlecruiser from heavy armor blocks in survival... 1.2 million steel plates invested till now, After that I will have to calculate how heavy it will be and the ammount of thrust needed to be able to fly in in atmosphere, it is a bit of a grind but its fun and worth every penny.

When they introduced the skins, I got a Hexagon suit which I sold on the market for 32 Euro and got GTA5 with the money :D Now I own almost every DLC as a "Thank you, keep up the good work, Keen Software House"

Old CS 1.5/1.6 Player here... Decided to write a review of the game finally. I loved the overall feel in it, but it didn't reach my expectations. The VAC system sucks, hackers still play, even in big tournaments they manage to sneak a cheat in the game in order to gain advantage. So after numerous reports from kids who don't understand how in-game sounds work and that you CAN hear them running and jumping in the tunnel in Dust 2. I got VAC banned without using a cheat in my life. I have another Steam account where I play again, but I lost the motivation after getting an unfair punishment...

Singleplayer:
Pros:
Best singleplayer story from all GTA.
Cons:
Considerably short story, like all GTA games.
Multiplayer:
Pros:
Fun multiplayer until you finish all the missions, then it gets a repetitive grind simulator, needs more heists.. A LOT of more heists.
Cons:
Waiting Simulator. You spend 30% of the game in waiting screens, you fail a mission? The game starts to DOWNLOAD the mission. When you start the game, you go to the bathroom, take a dump, take a shower, walk the dog and if you are lucky it will load, if you are lucky it won't disconnect you after 1 minute of being inactive.
A LOT of hackers/modders, most of them are harmless and just have flying Yahts or whatever, but atleast 1-2 times a day I switch the room cause of them. Spawnkilling is a big deal too, especially if you are CEO, people kill you before you can even press Esc and find a new session.

Summary:
I am giving a negative review, not because the game is bad or not fun, I am giving a negative review, cause there are a lot of things that can EASILY be fixed but no one from Rockstar cares.

I went through the tutorial 2 times, both times my game crashed after the tutorial, after a few hours I decide to give it another try and my account is suspended for the next 2 years for "Abnormal Behavior" .... What.. the.. ♥♥♥♥...

EDIT: Contacted game support, they were nice, worked fast and promised to look up to my problem, appologized for the inconvinience... Now lets see if they remove the suspension
