Incredibly amazing. It's all the best parts of Demon Souls, DS 1 / 2 / 3, Bloodborne, and in small part Sekiro combined into one magnum opus of a game. All of that plus its own speciality - the open world and story.

FromSoftware has truly made the most enjoyable game to play yet out of their collection. They listened to the players, they knew what we liked and knew what we despised. They've appended all sorts of optimisation and solutions that satisfy the veteran soul players, and newbies alike.

I am about 70 hours in (taking my time) and I would say I've still got about 35% more of the game to go MINIMUM. The world map is not only massive, beautiful, and inspiring; but it is also extremely content rich. I would very rarely feel like going out in a random direction near a cliff or ruin would be a waste of time -- in fact, sometimes doing so would lead me to completely new areas all together.

weapon synergies, armours, skills, dual wielding, spells, spirits all add such an extreme level of depth and diversity never before seen in these games. There is truly a build for every type of player and potential playstyle. The sheer amount of creativity in being able to simultaneously equip any skill, to any weapon, with any infusion definitely sank a lot of my hours into crafting the perfect and most fun character for me.

If there is ever one souls game you must play, this will now be the top of my recommendation -- especially for new players. I would overall place this as my second favourite FromSoftware game, still just under Dark Souls 1 (will forever be biased).
