It has a ton of bugs; none which have broken the game for me. Quite massive, sometimes overwhelming, but amazing amounts of side quests and overall I like it pretty much. I'm a sci fi nut so ... but I got this bundled with my processor.. don't know if it's worth the current full price(s) BUT I do enjoy playing it a ton... Either wait for sale as I would say it's probably not worth these full prices.. but on the other hand, if you have good economy and like sci fi, then go for it... Really nice rpg.. so it's Mass effect style, a lil bit cp2077 etc.

Ye, rough start but no game is fun if it's easy after 10 minutes. Once one gets into it, it's pretty awesome.

It's how I was envisioning a star fighting game but with multiplayer.. that is to say similar crafting principle /upgrading etc.

I think some people might give a poor review for one thing only: the apparent dificulty. I myself was feeling a bit eeerrm can I be arsed? Well, I was and did.. and once a few runs gives a few upgrades and one learns it's a very organic, natural 'float of development' and things get smoother. It's very well designed I think and so far it's very fun and I haven't even been more than twice into sector 2 (30 runs?).

I bought this on a discount and I suppose I would recommend doing the same. There are a lot of hours here if one dedicates to it but they also have now ES2 coming out (early access) which is different and if one desires to invest in one of them I'd guess that one? (I only have the demo but this was/is totally worth the discounted price in any case).

Beautiful and nice story and a great blend of sci-fi and fantasy. Really like how it's all done.. I don't always player all the games there is, so a lot of it kinda is newish to me, even if I have come across most of the mechanics.. but definitely love the arpg to it. Don't know yet how it is in the long run but it's amazing for now :)

it's early access but definitely pretty polished already. Like poe when it was in early stages kinda. Hads a good future, if one likes these kinda games, it's fairly good I think for the price.

Once I tried it , it was epic.. it IS a great game, art wise and immersive wise , scifi, if you like that ,p
But UI wise, this is probably the worst disaster of a game, I have ever come across. Also quite a ton of bugs as you get into it.. Obviously, once you get used to the game, you are aware of this and are ok with it, but as a new player, be a bit wary of this before committing money. I felt somewhat conned by many of the bugs and the way stuff is presented. It makes one lose a lot of time, and that might be offensive or expensive to some in terms as an opportunity cost, that is.

But if one is ok with those things, which many are, the game itself is pretty awesome, imo.

Update: 20 years on from cs, and this is the most amateur attempt I have seen at "player vs. player" modes in online terms. Probably as a MMO it focuses on the human vs. AI, but competitive mode is in no such state whatsoever. The game, UI, design and pvp is in beta and isn't doing too well.

do not waste money on this if that is something you wanted to play until it's fixed. most games are 300+ ms, so totally useless attempting to apply skill, as one arbitrarily must shoot ahead or so rather than develop an aim set.. add the fact, you might once i a while get a normal pinged game (it won't show, they use a marketing trick to hide the horrible state of their pvp code), then you aim ahead and obviously again will be off. You get highly punished too for their lack of code/skill etc.

Art is very nice, so worth playing around for free until, ye, they fix stuff.

I think they are avoiding spending money so they don't run dedicated servers for comp/pvp but it might just be part of their horrible state of UI code which is hindering them, who knows.

Either way, it is a 2/10 experience. Art/design/exploration: 8/10

so average 6/10.

800 hrsI played more apparently. WIll come back and see how elite ladder/ solutions to their poor net coding vs. hiding it behind demands which hid their crap. Shall update how they atempted to address any of their shortcomings if any. I hold my reservations for now.
