I started off absolutely loving this game. It was a truly unique ARPG. However, since they went from Alpha to Beta, they quite literally gutted half the game. As a result, this is 110% undeniably a bad Diablo 3 clone now. They completely ditched the storylined free roam mode for a strict dungeon crawler mode as well as ditching character creation. The new "storymode" isn't even implemented yet.

Don't get me wrong, its a stunningly beautiful game even if they have removed a few minor visual/physics aspects since alpha. The gameplay itself is still good, but I simply can NOT recommend this game based on the new direction its going. There is 0 reason other than graphics to recommend this over other fully released ARPG games.

Certainly not a game for everyone, but its hellaciously fun.

Its kind of like a Counter Strike, Battlefield and COD made a baby with Rainbow 6 Siege, but no one knew who the father was, thus producing a tactical game with a lot of methodical chaos with a super realistic ballistics and health system.

Its got the realism with indepth mechanics, but sticking to the simplistic gameplay style. There are no frills with this game. Its simply reaction time and aiming skill. The recoil is strong and the hip fire system is actually based on the barrel direction, rather than what you are actually centered on. Takes just a few if not 1 bullet and you're down for the count.

The perfomance improved vastly after the last update for me anyways running an OC'd 8700k (5.0) and a GTX 1080 at 1440p. Still not perfect, but making steps in the right direction.
