I've got to say, I was more than a little disappointed at this title.

Not going to lie, it's an interesting twist on the Diablo-clone, but at the same time, I don't feel like it's deep enough to really keep anyone playing for much time. The humor, which seems to be one of the main selling points, is weak, the story is interesting enough, the gameplay is passable, but overall it just feels like this game is ... missing something. On top of that, it seems like one of those microtransaction traps waiting to happen. Maybe it won't be, but that's my initial feeling. Granted, it's still in beta, so that might change, for better, or for worse.

At the end of the day, it's a Diablo-clone with a gimmick that just feels rather soulless at the end of it all.

My recommendation is if you want a solid Diablo-clone, go for Path of Exile (also free) or Torchlight II. But I mean, by all means, give this one a try if you don't believe me, it is free, so it's not like you'll be hurting too much if you toy around with it for a while.
