The fighting is pretty dumbed down, the areas aren't exactly interesting, and the minigames are pretty lackluster. The story is pretty pretentious and grasps at the deeper straws than any other Ryu ga Gotoku studio game. I would just read the plot to catch up to later entries. Is it a BAD game? No, but compared to other stellar entries this is an iron plate.

In a world of disillusionment, it's nice to have a game with feeling.

An amazing game that demands your attention. Be wary to those who do not wish to spend the time.

This is the good stuff. Good binary mechanics that have you switching between modes, with a pretty good map. Probably the best part is the visuals. The animation is crisp, and having your after image appear every step or so really emphasis the efforts made to make Deedlit look badass. Plays real smooth, good weapon array so far, and the magic system looks nice to play with. Definitely try if you want a good experience.

Small negatives: The binary system isn't explained too well, but once you figure it out the bosses take on a new dimension. In addition, map needs a key to explain what the symbols mean. Map could be more interesting.

Positives: Music, Animation, Buttery Gameplay, Blessed Visuals, just juicy as heck.

Buy? Yes.
Rent? How would you even....
Love? Absolutely.

Talked to someone about student movements in Japan for over an hour as a Undertale character. 5/5

If you missed out on Valkyrie Profile, this is a great title to bring you into the game style. Great characters, fun story (if a little simple, but the characters and action make the surface-story fun in and of itself), with a fantastic battle system. It's a mix between the timing defending in Paper Mario with the face-button attacking style of Valkyrie Profile.

Where Valkyrie Profile had its motif and themes based on Norse mythology, Indivisible grabs from a variety of cultures centered in the central Asian region like India, Pakistan, Nepal, and Tibet. Heck the Buddhist references are clear when you see Ajni on a Lotus when using the bow mid-air, and the save points all make the same "AUMMMM" chant.

Of course, the art style is fantastic, which is why these central-Asian motifs and themes can pop like they do in their respective cultures. Naturally the animation is fantastic, and switching out characters sometimes is all the worthwhile just to see them undulate.

Basically, if you want a simple RPG with excellent art, fun characters, and experience a rarely-used battle system, nab this bad girl ASAP.

P.S. Glad this game turned out as great as it did! Backing it was a great choice.
