i've had this game for a couple years now and somehow have never written a review! i could honestly write a novel on why i adore it- it's one of the few games i've found compelling enough to sink over a hundred hours into and is well worth the $15 for so much amazing content AND free DLC. it's astonishing to me that such a small dev team made such a beautiful game, and i recommend it to anyone looking for an awesome metroidvania. and even if you're not a fan of the genre, the game does not have a big learning curve and the mechanics and gameplay feel smooth and easy to understand. i could easily call this my favorite video game <:] no game is perfect, of course, but this one is preeeetty dang good! with gorgeous art, music, gameplay, and even lore, i feel like any indie game lover should at least give it a try. much love! <3
