Seems like a fun shooter, movement feels good and the weapons feel different and punchy so far, so it feels good to play and the upgrades and choices help keep each run fresh and unique.

A fun wave-based fps/tower defense with a larger focus on the FPS side than something like the Orcs Must Die games. It has a solid selection of maps each with amazing attention to detail and a fun overall design and aesthetic. Each map/level has a variety of collectibles and unlocks to work towards, which reward/unlock either new character customization options or new buildable defenses. Increasing difficulties change up the wave compositions, time between waves, and buildable areas to help keep each map interesting as you unlock more buildables and increase your skill.

Co-op multiplayer is great, either split-screen or online/LAN, and basically a must if you want to platinum at the higher difficulties or on the larger maps, so be aware of that if you're planning on playing mostly solo unfortunately. It's fairly easy to pickup and feels great to play once you get the hang of the movement, so makes for a great couch co-op game that reminds me a lot of more classic co-op/split screen shooter experiences from older console generations.

Overall highly recommended, very few bugs/issues and a great game made by a small developer/group of friends who clearly put their hearts and souls into the game, an absolute blast to play with a group of friends

Tried it on a free weekend, put in 12 hours in just over two days so I bought it at the end of the weekend and just kept coming back to it. This is the same story many of my friends would tell as well. I thought I would get tired of cave diving eventually, but the variety of area design and cave generation keeps everything fresh across multiple runs. The mission type variety is already a nice selection with plans to add more after launch. Having seen one update already and the previous roadmap instills confidence that this game will continue to get lots of love in the future after the full release, so well worth the investment. I would not hesitate to buy this for any of my friends that was interested, so far every one has loved it. I have 100 hours in now and have done the majority of that with only a single class. The way the classes play is different enough that each class is easy to pick up and play but has enough difference to change up the play styles and really make it a different feeling.

Update: DRG is still great, no complaints. Rock 'n Stone brothers

This game is a work of art from a great set of developers. Buy two copies and give one to a friend, it's worth every penny and I would buy it again any day of the week.

A combination between an FPS and Tower Defense. Really well done.
