Half-Life is a classic master piece.

Even though it was published on 1998, Its 100% playable in 2015. Since graphics arent that good (but not bad), the game is sotry-driven. Action is never reppetitive, and there is also a little bit of puzzles here and there. This is the kind of game that slowly (very slowly, now that I think of it... It took me 23 hours to beat this game) builds up to a climax, which isnt disapointing at all. Although gamplay is fairly simple, Valve managed to create a very diverse game using the limited tools of the time.

If you dont care much about graphics, and love a good story, Half-Life is for you.
