Lots of potential, lots of nice designs, art, concepts, music, player interaction...

However, it's abandoned.

A short, but actually pretty fun, interesting, gruesome, and dark. The story is very fourth wall oriented is good throughout, the gameplay is engaging, and has good turns here and there. You'll die a lot as well so it's fairly challenging, and even uses death itself as a mechanic here and there.

It is still short and not much hidden, so it's worth a playthrough or three.

When I was young, I had a computer. I didn't have a lot of games. I was small, stupid, clueless. I don't even know where I got Road Rash from. Maybe my parents bought it, maybe it came with the computer? But it was, quite literally, my first real dive into PC gaming. And I loved it. The theme, the styles, the combative racing. Road Redemption brings me back to that time and more with guns, explosions, a stupid fun grappling hook, and all manner of fun that asks you to put down your rosy glasses; it's fun on its own.

Road Rash had no sequel, but you can consider this one. With a focus on going from point a to b as violently as possible, all you really can do is have fun.

DJ Scully is one of the most beloved KF characters because of his design and general attitude. And Wilkes just has the overall most badass outfit.

I'm going to put this in a way that anyone should be enamored enough.

If I were to recommend one game in my entire lifetime for anyone to buy, there are a lot of games I could say, like Shovel Knight.

Buy Hyper Light Drifter. Just do it.

This is one of the best narrated games to ever exist, with a straight orward and very customizable experience upon beating hte main game with a fantastic art style, coop, and lots of fun to be had.

Also, the main bad guy really, really needs a hug.

Bretty gud. It lasts for a while until you find the cooler one.

Not that long, but constantly engaging with the art and interesting points. It's free, so try it out.

Short, engaging, interesting, and atmospheric. All for, right now, forty-nine cents. Honestly, I can't make a better recommendation for half a dollar. No replay value at all, but it's worth at least one go.

For three bucks, this is probably of my most recommended adventure games. Definitely a cool buy.

Not only is this a commentary of Early Access development as a whole, but also is riddled with interesting twists, puzzles, and some serious plot twists. I had a lot of fun.
