It lacks a bit on the perfomance-side, mid-game is very slow and late-game is tedious. Although the game itself has improved A LOT since the release.
It does need more flavour tho.

A good story-driven game with great RPG elements. All the good parts of realism are in, without the boring gripes of it. A must play if you like TES: Oblivion, Witcher series, or anything medieval related.

No Man's Sky is a big tale we tell about how "pre-ordering sucks" and such, and it does most of the time, for the 2016 era Hello Games this was the case. But with such a big promise, it was hard to fullfill such a big dream, and it failed. However, with the big bucks earned on launch day, they went on the right steps: Fix the game, and make it as it was told to be.

I think NMS turned to be what it was dreamed to one day become, and right now, it's the best exploration game on the market. New free updates, content, and fixes are coming oftenly, and there's a big room for even more. No Man's Sky really became a new game, and so did Hello Games.

An amazing game, with a great mood that will keep on throught many replays, even on the same scenarios. Graphics are great, and the soundtrack is out of this world. The story and lore is very well-thought, with a very depressing atmosphere as well. The only thing it lacks is replayability, though that will change with new upcoming scenarios, and sometimes gameplay feels too linear, but other than that, it's a must play.
