I remember the accomplishment of reaching certain stages in Clicker Heroes 1. This game doesn't have any feeling of progression at all. Clicker Heroes 1 is far better in my opinion and free too. So unfortunately I cannot recommend this game right now.

Play Last Epoch Instead.

Edit after season update: Why do I need to play the story again?? No thank you.

Combat is weaker than in BDO. Was expecting more or less the same, but it´s a downgraded version of Black Desert.
Just the same old stun lock over and over again. Nothing special here.

Where oh where do I start..?
This isn't a game for everyone that's for sure.

While this game can be unforgiving, the amount of satisfaction is insane.
The game starts with a whole world to explore, and combat better than most mmo's.
You'll probably enjoy that part, until you realise there's an overwhelming amount
of ease of life items in the cash shop. Sure, you can skip that part, and never buy a thing.
But while you are grinding 6 mobs at a time, all with loot, it costs time to pick up all that loot.
So you can buy additional pets in the cash shop to pick that loot up for you. (I think you can get a few free now)
You want to look good? You can buy a costume for €30,00.
That's fine and all, because I did those things and I didn't regret it.
The enhancing system is where it lacks.

To explain in simple terms:
You can enhance an item to a certain level with stones, but after you progress in levels, it gets harder every time.
At first, you'll only lose durability. After you reach higher levels, you can lose even a whole level for failing that.
It all comes down on RNG. There's a failstack system, but with enough failstacks, chances are you only have like 20% chance to succeed.
Enchancing accoiries can even destroy that nice ring you got. Leaving you with less.

I really do not hate this game, because I love it and keep coming back to it.
But I can understand people that are quitting the game because of this.

Pro's
- Really beautiful graphics for an mmo.
- It's a sandbox, do what you want.
- Nice variety of classes.
- Frequently updated.

Con's
- Gender locked classes.
- RNG type of enchancing.
- It takes a LOT of time (And AFK time) to reach anything in game.
- Sometimes the community is a little toxic.
- More singleplayer stuff than in other mmo's.

It's hard for me to give it a thumbs down or up. I will give it an up because despite it's flaws, I really like the game.

Absolutely the best MMO I've ever played!
Took me 10 hours to get into it, and get used to some mechanics.
Have played BDO, WoW, EVE Online, but this is the best MMO for me.

Pro's

- A lot to do, never bored at all.
- Seems like there's always something new to do when becoming higher lvl.
- Dungeons are really fun.
- New player friendly.
- Very, VERY nice community.
- Wide variety of cosmetics to choose from.
- Good main story so far.
- Play all classes/jobs on one character. (BIG up for me!)

Con's

- MSQ (Main Story Quest) can feel a bit slow and boring at the beginning. (Lots of fetch quests)
- Slow combat at low lvl. (Because of global cooldown) Combat becomes a lot better at higher lvl's.
- This game got years of content, while this is not really a con, there are so many main quests that it gets a bit overwhelming.
Take it slow or you'll burn out.

Amazing game, and I'll continue having so much fun with this game.

Long time ago that I've used the F5 button nearly every second. Game is a hell lot of fun and best RPG I've played in a while.

Game has a lot more to offer than it first looks. Once you get the hang of it and you did join a clan, it's really fun and addictive. Worth it!

So far so good, no problems and really well optimized. (For me)

This game is nice for what it is. I´m just 10 hours in it and I like it very much, DLC are only skins so don´t worry about that. Maybe wait for the price to drop and get it, it´s plenty of fun for sure.
