If you liked PWS1, you'll like this. My only initial complaints are that some of the lifting mechanisms are broken/buggy, and trying to play multiplayer is hell on earth. I do appreciate that jobs I completed in my multiplayer session transferred to my solo session - if I had to clean everything twice to progress solo, I'd cry. It's sitting at a 3/5 for me right now simply because I bought this to play with a friend and getting kicked every 10 minutes isn't really conducive to that. If multiplayer was fixed, I could bring this up to a 5/5, even with the lifting mechanism bugs.

I've played through the demo twice now and have loved every second of gameplay so far. I already enjoy city builder games, and I appreciate the thought and detail you can put into into creating a charming and lived-in town. I like the small bursts of strategy when someone new comes to town and wants to live near a certain landmark, and the variations in how I can decorate my town are going to leave me with hours of playtime just spent decorating once the game is fully released. I'm really excited for the full release and can't wait to sink evenings and weekends into this game.

I genuinely can't believe I haven't written a review for this game as many hours as I've put into this game between PC, Switch and PS4. The replayability is insanely high, it's so relaxing, the characters are so charming, and I love the newly added freedom to move ALL buildings, including the greenhouse and your home. I can't recommend this game enough.
