An ex-hat-ing game to play. (The only pun in this review)

Overall, would recommend. This pretty much captures my outlook on it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jslSRD1WBKA

Wargame: Red Dragon is the third installment of the Wargame franchise, and is an excellant work of Eugen.

+ Great gameplay experience.
+ Variety of nations: 17 in base game and additional 4 in DLC.
+ Large variety of units with deck building system allowing to customize your play style.
+ Well-designed textures, even able to run on older hardware.
+ Modding capacity available for those interested.
+ Replays
+ Both small-scale and large-scale battles are available.
+ Customizeable match settings
+ Large variety of different sized maps, each well-done.
+ A strong 8/10

- UI is distinguished, yes, but could be more customizeable.
- AI is simplistic and difficulties of AI offer little change.
- More available default decks, such as one for more prominant "coalitions," or pair-ups of nations, would allow for new players to adapt to the deck-building system better than one or two default decks.
- Multiplayer community is uncommitted to the game, as multiple players may leave in the middle of a match for trivial reasons.
- Campaigns are lacking and no additional content is provided for them.
- Naval units are lacking and no additional content is provided for them.

* Not base building RTS
* Multiplayer focused
* Takes time to learn units and how to use them well. Game does provide armory where player can view every units characteristic.
