Relaxing jigsaw type puzzle game. It took about 5 hours to complete.

At this stage this feels more like an Early Access / late Beta product than a full game. Also not a fan of how owners of the previous Ticket To Ride owners were treated. Not this developer's fault, but 100% Asmodee's fault.

Currently the frequent game crashes and freezing makes this mostly unplayable.

The graphics, while pretty, often distract rather than enhance game play.

Decent buy on sale or as a part of a bundle. Not perfect by any means.

Especially frustrating at points where the game does NOT tell you what you need to do next. This starts a few minutes into the game.

To get the handy smasher, you must build the item requested in the starting quest first.

Otherwise a decent survival-exploration game.

Short, interesting visual style, a few jump scares. More of a tech demo walking simulator than an actual game.

If you like these types of games, then I'd recommend it, otherwise it is a very niche game.

Nice graphics, pretty good story, if a bit short and linear.

Early Access Review
The AI is absolute garbage, borders on cheating despite all claims that it follows the same rules as players. The "Basic" AI is practically unwinnable by new players and the fact that the game allows you to play your cards at nearly the same time as the AI leads to confusion as to what, exactly is happening. If you play versus another human, you'd see variations in playstyles instead of being constantly hit by militias and witches in the base game.

Only get this if you are playing with other players, or have a super high tolerance for losing.

Okay, thoughts on completing Light Matter, and getting 100% achievements. There are a few puzzles where it wasn't intuitive for me to figure out, but the majority I solved by myself. I looked up a guide on about 4 puzzles of the 38 rooms. A couple of the hidden achievements don't trigger quickly, and one ending takes sitting around for 21 minutes doing nothing. A couple of tough jump sequences, but overall a decent game.

If you are interested in puzzle games, check it out.

Early Access Review
A solo relaxing Carcassonne like game, based on hexagons instead of squares. Great music and graphics. Did I mention relaxing? No combat, just tile placement. Worth the money, but there are a couple problems from making this a great game.

Complete lack of an undo button. This game desperately needs one due to mis-clicks and the game misplacing tiles sometimes.

Lack of a manual save button in normal mode, except by shutting down the game or by changing modes.

Bizarre quest mechanism that gives absurd quests.

The tile selection is prone to dumping streaks of tiles to frustrate the quests it gives. Like dumping 5-6 train track ends in a spurt, while ignoring all the other track tile types.

Loaded the game up for the first time in years. Met with a dozen EULAs and being asked to sign into a Paradox account even though I just wanted to play offline. Get your act together, Paradox.

Edit:
After getting past the EULAs and such. It is a calming city builder game. Fairly relaxing, once past the sign in nonsense.
