An absolute must for all fans of the recent bullet-hell revival.
Boneraiser Minions takes the concept that has been done to death by now and reanimates it into a quirky but rock solid game experience that still has me hooked after over 200 hours.
What many other games in the genre misses, Boneraiser Minions covers nicely, from the ability to innately dash (so good it should be standard in every bullet-hell), the deceptivly powerful spells, the pregame construction and upgrade system, to the childish but nonetheless funny writing. All in this wrapped in a sometimes visually grating, but all right retro inspired pixel look, with some really banger chiptunes to back it up. Furthermore, I am honestly impressed at the amount of additional free content and updates this game has gotten after its 1.0 release, especially considering it being a solo developer charging next to nothing for this jam-packed game.

The quintessential Half-Life experience.
