An incredible world simulation, with much greater accessibility with the Steam release.

A beautiful and emotional story of a king and a family man. You will laugh. You will despair. At times you will feel the tense pressure of the situation and victory may taste bitter sweet - but what kind of a story ever has a perfect ending?

The game is relatively linear however, with some branching choices which affect aspects of the story, but most are not very significant. This doesn't have very much replay value at the time of this review. The story was great, especially if you really try to feel for the characters, which have a reasonable level of detail. Approximately 6-8 hours of gameplay, depending on how fast you play.

I'm surprised I hadn't come across or heard of this game sooner.
A friend of mine had this game and we played this game with a few friends on a couch and had an absolute blast.

From a gameplay point of view it was amazing, just enough complexity to be able to jump straight into it but enough variety and tactics that you can use to keep it interesting. Good variety of maps and gamemodes to choose from. The visuals and audio was very well done, but it was the fun gameplay that really won me over.

The only criticism that I could have is that this is best played against players rather than the AI and the potential difficulty to find other players to play with.

If you have people around that can come over and do some LAN then its fine, but for online play you should head over to the official discord server, as its unlikely you'll find a match using the in-game search function.

Overall, highly recommend this game. Very polished in gameplay, visual and sound design. Find other players on the official discord server.
