An interesting little game about a world where the underbelly of a cyberpunk city is ruled by gangs, in which you play as a store-clerk, turned accessory to a budding criminal organization that seeks to rule them all.

For a proof of concept, the game is amazing.
The story, albeit fast-paced and a little loose, is interesting and compelling enough to satisfy it's 1-hour runtime.
The art is gorgeous- thick with atmosphere, style, and humor, I found myself admiring the environments frequently.
The writing is pretty good too- funny characters and dialog really make the game feel unique and likeable.
The gameplay however needs some refinement. The hack and slash elements make the game fun, however controlling your sword doesn't have that degree of control that would give it the step up. However, abilities and movement do complement the system- when you can pull it off.
I would suggest using the focus ability in conjunction with combat more fluidly- maybe having your attacks chain if you can draw a line through all of them or most without hitting their swords or something.
or a gun.
This, as well as, traversal and tutorials should be made perhaps a bit more obvious- it took me a while to figure out that down and s where supposed to make me fall through the platform because I didnt notice the graffiti, so i spent a while wandering around the level.

However, these are small issues that ultimately didnt interfere with my enjoyment of the game, I would totally recommend to give it your time, especially at a price above prime- free!

Fun twinstick slice 'n shoot em up, very happy I bought the collection deal! fun to see the progress the dev has been making on the game and one sick ass soundtrack. Definitely recommend.

great, solid tension, well crafted visuals, and im just happy it runs well on my craptop at medium. Pretty good game.

I like how Jill is a 27 year old woman, but still laughs at ♥♥♥♥ jokes and has the spending habits of a 13 year old. Speaking of people that look 13 but are older than that, Dorothy can step on my face.

But seriously, even if the game is shorter than I want it to be, it has some of the most compelling characters, setting, lore, art, story, music, and love and care put in every detail that for an indie game is by far one of my favorites of all time.

Buy the game. Not only because of the things I just said, but because it's 13 hours of moral contemplation, chill vibes, cute waifus, and crevice spikes.

If it isn't already obvious, Play Hotline Miami 1 before buying 2. You'll have a much better understanding of the game this way.

tl;dr-
"Kitchen Magenta Nutcase: the one after the first one but not really kinda" gets a 4 out of 5 dead russians for the same solid fast paced gory gameplay, vibrant hypnotic visuals, an even more pulsing soundtrack than the original and a strong, rich narritive. (plus if you get the deluxe for like 4 more bucks, you get access to exclusive comics, artwork, the full soundtrack, and added things like the level editor on top of even having access to a special character pack in PAYDAY 2, if you have it.) Pick up the deluxe on a sale. You won't regret it.

Alright alright. Fallout 3, as I see it, was a great step In the series. It took the large expanse of the capital, and bent it over a traffic barrier and gave it a good nuclear seeing-to. It's immersive, fun, and interesting. It has good characters, and a okay plot. (then again, you dont play fallout for "plot" as much as you do for maurading and looting bomb'd out sweet shops.) The only problems you might encounter is that you may need a time travel device due to the fact the game does not properly run on any windows OS aside from 7 and back. (Dont worry, there are still ways to fix it so its playable on 8 or higher.) Gunplay is also an issue as well. For those wondering, it supports third and first person shooting, so go nuts, but the shooting feels slightly clunky. There also is no Iron-sight aiming. This is made up with V.A.T.S, a computer generated outcome as to how you can shoot, giving you a statistic of how good your chances are of shooting a certain limb, and how much damage it'll do. If you get the right perks, blowing a super mutants head off as his body flies one way and his head in three others never gets old.

Should you buy this game?
Yeah, go nuts. With hours apon hours of quests and things to do, you really cant get bored.

I give Fallout 3 a solid 8/10.
