My favorite monster hunter game and one of my favorite games in general. Each weapon type provides a new way to hunt and the maps are detailed to the point where I am still finding new locations while hunting.

Story is also great if you look past the desire to 'research' every living thing on the island and notice small details such as the upside-down researcher's books and how you're the only one 'researching' the monsters leaving everyone else on the island to be useless but acting like they're doing something. Also worth mentioning is Excitable A-Lister who tries his hardest to be a main character in the story.

10/10 would 'research' an entire ecosystem to find out if it was a threat or not again

Honestly one of the best games I have ever played. Not only that but one of the few I went for full completion on. 10/10

It's a good game. I would definitely recommend buying it.
