Solid 8/10 game. Extremely challenging mechanics with a great story, it's only drawbacks being that it has a bevy of bugs and ends without wrapping up every story as they clearly intend to continue it in #2, a fact that wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for how anticlimactic it makes the ending of the game.

Overthrow Hitler and restore Imperial Germany. Or reform Byzantium and annihilate Turkey. Make a better world.

May 6th: Arrowhead is a great dev and the community rallied together to show Sony they were wrong. What a legendary game.

December 19th: This game is amazing, the Devs have proven they actually care about the players, and I really hope they keep doing what they're doing because recent content has been amazing. Don't listen to the haters, Arrowhead.

Great to see a new CRPG in 2023 and one that did so fantastically in sales. We need more! :)

An amazing, ever evolving game that I've been playing for over half a decade now. Can it get repetitive? Yes. Can the grind feel monotonous? Yes. Will you always feel like the AI is better than you? In my experience, yes. But my God will you have fun doing it.

I've put almost two thousand hours into CK2, and at this time almost sixty into CK3. To put it simply, it's a pretty damn great game. It's missing a few things that made CK2 great, but with the Ruler Designer recently released, it's much closer to what I love about CK overall. If you liked CK2, it's a direct improvement.
